Turning Capability

 

 

Six (6) Wasino LG-7 Superprecision Lathes, each equipped with Northfield Precision Air Chucks and Overhead Loading, Double Chuck Hand, Robots. Tool change times faster than Turret Index. Tool center height repeatability tool-to-tool.

 

 

Two (2) Mori Seiki DL-151Y, Twin Spindle, Twin Turret, Fully Intergraded, eight (8) axis, Super-Precision Lathes and Live Tooling. Capacity: 7.8" Diameter × 7.8" Length. Autobar 400 Magazine Bar Feed System Dual 12-Station Turrets. 5.1 HP Live Tooling, Rigid Tapping on live tooling, Full C Axis 944 IPM Rapid Feed Rate.

 

 

Two (2) Mori Seiki ZT-1000 Dual Spindle, seven (7) axis lathe. Maximum Turning Diameter: 190mm (7.4 in.); Maximum Turning Length: 120mm (4.7 in.). Maximum Rotary Tool Spindle Speed: 6,000 min-1.

 

 

Two (2) Nakamura Tome WT 150MMY Dual Spindle, seven (7) axis lathe. High Speed Z-axis Rapid Traverse 40m/min. C-axis rotation speed 600 min-1. High Rigidity Milling, Y-axis +/- 35mm. Equipped with 48 Tool Stations Turret for Multiple Processes. Compact Multi 2-Spindle Machine 6.3m2 x 1.9m.


Milling Capability

 

Two (2) Fanuc Robodrill X-T14 I AL Vertical Machining Center with Fanuc 14MC Control and Automatic Pallet Changer. 15 HP Spindle with 10,000 RPM Max Spindle Drives Fast 14-position automatic tool changer with random access and bi-directional tool magazine.

Wire EDM

 

 

One (1) Charmilles Robofil 240cc Wire EDM with Maximum Workpiece Dimensions of 1000mm × 550mm × 220mm.  Maximum Workpiece Weight is 750kg. Taper Machining with Maximum Taper ± 30˚ / 220mm.  Wire Diameters available from Ø 0.33 to 0.10.

Bore Finishing Capability

 

Two (2) Engis Single-Pass Superabrasive Bore Finishing Systems. Both systems are outfitted with four spindle, 5 HP programmable variable frequency AC drives and 8 station precision indexing tables. Loading and unloading is precisely accomplished robotically with two (2) Adept 550 Ultra-Precision Dual Grip Robots. Integrated post process air gauging for 100% reporting to central SPC monitoring system.


Centerless Grinding

 

Three (3) Royal Master Model DRF 12 × 4 Infeed / Thru-Feed Centerless Grinders equipped with robots. Capable of holding diameter tolerances better than .0002 and surface finish within single digits.

 


Lapping Equipment
 

One (1) Peter Wolters Model 4R-1200, 48" Single-Plate Lapping and Polishing-Machine with full pneumatics

One (1) Lapmaster 48" Single-Plate Lapping and Polishing Machine equipped with full pneumatics.

 


Engraving Equipment

 

 

 

One (1) InstaMark Script 75 watt Laser Engraver with 5" diameter marking field. Manual load/ unload workstation with CDRH Class I Enclosure, Manual Z Axis Focus Adjustment, Enclosure Illumination. Enclosure to accommodate up to eight (8) 1/2" diameter 55" tubes at one time.

Laser Welder

 

 

 

One (1) StarWeld Laser Welder to be used in Medical Device Assembly.

 


Deburring and Finishing Equipment
Two (2) Almco Spindle Finishing Machines, Model #2SF-48A, 10 horsepower, double capacity, heavy duty machines.

Cleaning Capability

 

One (1) Crest Ultrasonic 8 Station Cleaning System. System includes two (2) heated, ultrasonic wash tanks for solvent or detergent use, one (1) heated, ultrasonic cascading rinse tank, one (1) heated, cascading clean water final rinse tank, one (1) filtered and heated rust preservative tank and one (1) down draft hot air dryer. All tanks are robotically loaded and unloaded using a Rigibot CTS-1500 transport robot.


Conveyor System.


 

All manufacturing processes are integrated by way of a FlexLink XM Conveyor and Pallet System. The 500 feet of conveyor is easily reconfigured using customizable pallets, accurate pallet indexing, RF sensors and accumulation capabilities. This allows us tremendous flexibility to reconfigure for any type manufacturing opportunity.

Quality Assurance Equipment

 

 

 

 

One (1) OGP SmartScope Flash 250 Video Inspection System has been installed at Innovatech's Whitaker Avenue facility. The new equipment will be used for process verification of the growing list of medical devices being manufactured.

 

One (1) Federal Products Formscan 6100 Geometry Gage. This gage is used to check roundness, perpendicularity, straightness, circularity and concentricity.

 

Eight (8) Federal products Digital Dimensionair Air Gages. Gage offers .003 range and 10u" digital resolution.

 

Two (2) Federal Products Surface Analyzer Finish Gage. These surface finish gages measure Ra, Rz and Rmax/Ry.

 

One (1) Van Keuren Light Wave Flatness Gage, with optical flat.

 

One (1) Fully equipped laboratory for performing various titration's to determine percent concentration. Ultrasonic cleaner and equipment to perform Millipore (% residue) testing.

 

One (1) 40x-Microscope

 

One (1) First super III A Scanning Electron Microscope

 

One (1) Niton XLT898 Series Portable XRF Alloy Analyzer

 

One (1) Nikon MM-40 Measuring Microscope
